I'm glad the majority of you guys are happy with info regarding swine flu and the Anet staff's leisure activities.
Personally I'd prefer some info on the pvp updates like sealed deck and when ta/hb are going down in flames.

I can only say that they should really really take a closer look at the XTH...
Danm just get the time and get it up running. It's insane to get the Zaishen title without XTH.
Maybe there should be a better way for PvE players to archive Z keys...
When there are RA in Zaishen Challenge I make around 15 Zkeys on that. But if I want to use regular Zaishen mission / Boss it gives me 105 - 140 copper coins well just fine but to get a single zkey it requires 500 copper coins.
To archive the same amount as in RA it requires 7.500 copper coins it's soo unrealistic to archive. So there are really only 1 way to do it as a pure PvE player that's buying from other players. But I don't have 80-85 millions.
Now that's also a PvE title I want it possible to obtain before 2011 or GW2 is released.

For example, if there’s any new text or art involved, we need to get the help of a writer or artist, all of whom are working heads-down on Guild Wars 2.

Just what I said too, but all I heard was "they won't have to divert resources from GW2 for this dumbass"

If anet really did get hit by H1N1, then i'd rather they drop everything and stay home for a week. that's what you all should do, in fact. the excuse is perfectly valid.

In what serious PvP format are WotA sins even competitive?
There are a bunch of cute builds running around based on the dagger changes, but none of them remotely approach the R/As of old. None of them can pack the same survivability, mobility, damage, and disruption into the same bar.

I hope all of you start to feel better, I have had the swine flu and I know how annoying it can be.
Note: To those of you who think Anet is using this as an excuse (while they may be) H1N1 still makes your whole body feel like shit for 1-2.5 weeks

From a business perspective, the excuse is only somewhat valid, and a pretty weak one. And that's exactly what ArenaNET is, a business.
Also, about the bunch of ungrateful jackasses. I assume you consider me one of them. I don't think there is a ground for the idea that people should be grateful. It's not like we owe them, in fact it's probably more the other way around. And I also feel that healthy criticism and discussion of an employee's/a department's reporting to the ones involved (the community) is only beneficial for said employee/department in the end, even if it comes with a high amount of skepticism and cynicism.

Wow, reading this thread I'm shocked at the complete lack of empathy and utter selfishness of some of the people here (but also pleased to see how many people have stepped up in ANet's defense). While I do have my beefs with ANet ("fanatically" playing Aion sounds kind of iffy, for one), but GIVE THEM A BLOODY BREAK!
I have had the flu before. Not swine flu, just your ordinary flu season sort of deal. I was so sick I didn't even have the energy to prop myself up in a chair and play Guild Wars; I spent the entire time lying on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around me, marathoning Lord of the Rings and trying not to fall asleep. And that was ORDINARY flu. H1N1 may have been blown out of proportion, but I have heard that it is longer-lasting and more severe than the ordinary flu that left me completely useless for days.
So learn what the heck you're talking about and try growing some empathy for a change.

When you go out into the adult world, you'll realize nobody cares (customers and the business). As a corporation/company, you're suppose to get the job done.

QFT.
Guildwars has one of the worst playerbases I have ever seen in my life.
Things happen, and things will get done when they get done. The game is still there in the meantime. If that's not good enough, there are a bazillion other free games floating on the tubes.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in GuildWars who doesn't care if an update is late or if something doesn't go exactly according to plan. It's a sad, lonely feeling while everyone else is whining.

I'll give them my undying love and an insane amount of empathy if they give me a few free accounts.
No?
Don't you DARE suggesting that players should be empathic and loving when A.Net only bends when you pay for it.
